About the Client
The origins of what is today known as BATTERY PRO date back to March 2013,
when the late Dirk Bothma laid out a vision to bring high quality automotive batteries to the South African
market. After much research, Dirk identified the MAXIM battery range for both its
quality and performance. Dirk then entered into a joint venture with Anton Mulder, a fellow businessman from
Cape Town, and imported the first container of MAXIM batteries for distribution to wholesalers mainly in the
Western Cape and Gauteng. BATTERY PRO remains committed to its founding vision: to bring high quality
batteries to the South African market.
Battery Pro needed to understand the market and conduct Brand Architecture and Analysis.
Amariz began consulting with the client and developed the blueprint for what needed to be done. The plan was
sound and Battery Pro success was soon realised.
