About the Client

About the client: Eksentrik is a new and exciting alcohol brand in South Africa. From the founder of Eksentrik - ”As EKSENTRIK beings, we do not fear to be eccentric in the provision of “new generation” alcoholic beverages because every accepted alcoholic beverage was once eccentric.” - Wiseman Makgale.

Problem:

Eksentrik had a vision of entering the alcohol industry to be a premium gin whilst remaining relevant and pushing an agenda. A client came to Amariz with nothing but the name "Eksentrik," which we love!

Solution

Team Amariz rolled up their sleeves and created Eksentrik from scratch. We started off with the brand architecture. Once we understood who Eksentrik was as a person we had FUN! We described Eksentrik as the Drag Queen of the alcohol industry. Which embodied extremerty, fashion, sassy, class and uncontrolled creativity. We then created the logo, colours, labels, website, events, launches, partnerships, photoshoots to ready Eksentrik for their launch. Eksentrik is now available on Takealot, on the Eksentrik website and leading FMCG chain stores.
